OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 13, 2024–Heavy favorite Alliekat Dynasty, who took top billing for the $188,975 Remington Park Oaks trials on Saturday, didn't disappoint after winning her trial heat and setting the time to beat in :19.876 seconds.

The fastest qualifier piloted by Roman Cruz lead the fourth trial from wire-to wire for a 1 3/4-length victory over Bv Miss Mona. Alliekat Dynasty clocked an 89 speed index. The 400-yard first place finish on 1/1 odds paid $2.10 to win.

It was no surprise that Alliekat Dynasty was favored to win, the daughter of FDD Dynasty has won every out except her first from eight career starts.

The 7-time winner has $192,951 in the bank with three stakes wins under her belt, including the Decketta Stakes [G2] just last month and the OHA Mystery Futurity [G2] and FL Lady Bug Stakes [G3] from her freshman campaign.

Trainer Ruben Ruiz conditions Alliekat Dynasty for owner Anita Ruiz of Arrowhead Racing. Jahree Standrigde bred the three-year-old sorrel filly out of Pollitical Scorpion by Apollitical Jess.

I am Candy is off to a good start for 2024. The daughter of champion sire Jess Good Candy broke her maiden in her first out last month and won again tonight in her trial heat clocking the second the best time.

Ridden by Justine Klaiber, I Am Candy lead the first trial of the evening from gate-to-wire clocking an 87 speed index in :19.929 seconds from the two-length victory. The effort paid $5.00 to win on 1/2 odds.

I Am Candy is bred and owned by PV Quarter Horse Farm in Oklahoma and out of the Red Storm Cat mare Candy Cartels Cat. She is trained by Eddie D. Willis.
