POCATELLO, ID–MAY 12, 2024–Stakes-placed Eyesa Noyz Chick broke her maiden today when she defeated La Punsada by one length while setting the fastest qualifying time for the Spring Classic Maiden Oaks (not black type) at Pocatello Downs

The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to the Eastern Idaho racetrack on Sunday, May 26 to vie for the winner's share of a $10,000-added purse going a distance of 300 yards.

Eyesa Noyz Chick was a gate-to-wire winner under jockey Jesus Canales while stopping the timer in 15.630 seconds, equaling a 95-speed index.  Trainer Sergio Canales saddled the daughter of third-crop sire Kvn Corona for owner Harry K. Hinck.

Third in the Pocatello Downs Spring Futurity last season, Klay Hinck bred the gray filly in Utah. Her dam is the Eyesa Special mare Eyesa Candy Maker. Eyesa Noyz Chick has earned $5,274.
