The 10 fastest qualifiers will return to the Iowa racetrack on Saturday, July 6th, to vie for the winner's share of a $213,400 purse going a distance of 350 yards.

Ridden by jockey Berkley Packer, Ct Walking Thru willingly walked away from the field in trial 4, winning by 2-3/4 lengths in the fastest time of 17.783 seconds, an 83-speed index into a 10 mph headwind.

Trainer Alex Wessels conditions the daughter of leading sire Favorite Cartel for owner Paul Tonderum. Bred in Texas by Gary and Linda Gordon, Ct Walking Away is out of the champion Walk Thru Fire mare Jess Walking Thru, a sibling to eight stakes winners including champion Sass Me Blue.

Remington Park Juvenile winner Relentless American remained unbeaten this year when he raced to his fourth consecutive win in the opening trial to get the second fastest clocking of 17.892 seconds, an 85-speed index into a 10 mph headwind.

Jockey Ramiro Garcia rode the Hes Relentless gelding to a 1-3/4 length victory for owner Tom Maher and trainer Jason Olmstead.  Maher bred the 2-year-old with his brother, Bill Maher, in Oklahoma.  Out of Tritoon, by Tres Seis, Relentless American has earned $60,999.  He won a trial for the Ruidoso QH Futurity in his previous start on May 25.

Olmstead also qualified Flying Bandida, Anna Belle, Relentless Purrsuit, and Valiant Candy Tree.
