Two Macho For You Best In $100,000 New Mexico State Fair QH Juvenile

ALBUQUERQUE, NM–OCTOBER 13, 2024–Two Macho For You race to his second career win on Sunday when he defeated King Of Kia by a neck as the post-time favorite in the $100,000 New Mexico State Fair QH Juvenile at The Downs in Albuquerque. 

Ridden by jockey Noe Garcia, Jr., New Mexico State Fair QH Juvenile Two Macho For You dueled best while completing the 400 yards in 19.710 seconds, equaling an 87-speed index into a 5 mph headwind. The winner's purse was valued at $60,000.

Trainer Westley T. Giles conditions the son of first-crop sire Kj Mucho Macho Man for owner-breeder Ezra Elton Lee. Bred in New Mexico, from the Wagon Tales mare Tiramisu For Two, Two Macho For You was second in the Zia Juvenile earlier this year. He has earned $76,360 from a (7) 2-2-2 record.

Runner-up King Of Kia, ridden by jockey Manuel Gutierrez, earned $20,000 for finishing second. Carlos Sedillo trains the son of multiple stakes sire Eye Am King for owner Mike Parker. Bred by Dirk Jones, from the Major Rime mare Major Kia, King Of Kia has earned $30,429 in four career starts. He was also a finalist in the New Mexico Breeders Futurity(RG3).

Neale Edwards' homebred Flippinfast finished a head back in the blanket finish to pick up $10,000 for third. Fred Danley conditions the son of Rite Favorite from the Big Daddy Cartel mare Daddies Darlin. Christian Cardenas rode the $41,950 earner.

Stormin Cartel, Bf Mucha Divine, Boot Scootin Mama, and Boot Scoots completed the field.
