Shaken Goin On, under jockey Jimmy Brooks, posted the fastest time from nine trials contested on Sunday for the $536,151 Black Gold Fillies Futurity Championship(RG3) at Will Rogers Downs.

CLAREMORE, OK–OCTOBER 27, 2024–Multiple stakes-placed Shaken Goin On raced to her fourth career win on Sunday while posting the fastest qualifying time for the restricted Grade 3 $536,151 Black Gold Fillies Futurity Championship at Will Rogers Downs.

The 10 fastest qualifiers from nine trial races contested today will return to the Northeastern Oklahoma raceway on Tuesday, November 12, to vie for the $214,460 winner's purse.

Under longtime jockey Jimmy Brooks, Shaken Goin On raced to a half-length victory over Apollitical Muse while stopping the timer in 19.976 seconds, a 93-speed index with an 8 mph tailwind. The daughter of world champion sire Freighttrain B stumbled at the start but recovered nicely for the victory.

Eddie D. Willis trains the Oklahoma homebred for owner-breeders James Sils and Abel Flores, Jr. Bred from the Pappasito mare Shaken Pappasito, Shaken Goin On was third in the Easy Jet Stakes(RG3) and the Mystery Futurity and has earned $62,178.

Flyin Agree was a 1-3/4 length winner in the fourth trial, under jockey Ramiro Garcia, to get the second fastest clocking of 20.020 seconds, a 92 speed index with an 8 mph tailwind.

Trainer Jason Olmstead saddled the daughter of second-crop leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 for owner S/T Racing Stables. Bred in Texas by Paragon Farms, Flyin Agree has won two of seven starts this season and earned $20,652.

Olmstead also trains the fourth-fastest Flying Bandida and tenth-fastest Curlie D.

Valley Junction Futurity(G3) winner Sheza Fearless Eagle finished third in the fastest trial to qualify with the seventh-fastest. Ivan Manriquez-Garay conditions the daughter of multiple stakes sire One Fabulous Eagle for owner Jill Cook. Bred in Oklahoma by Jill and her late husband Vaughn Cook, Sheza Fearless Eagle has won four of six starts and earned $140,552.  She is out of the Tres Seis mare Ima Fearless Fire.

Will Rogers continues live racing on Monday (September 28) with a 12-race card that includes seven trials for the Black Gold Futurity Championship and four trials for the OQHRA Mystery Derby.
