MEXICO CITY, MEX–MARCH 30, 2025–Last year’s reigning champ, La Feature This Bell, returned for the win in this year’s $17,600 Chirina Glorys Classic on Sunday at the Hipodromo de las Americas.

Jockey Alejandro Gomez received the riding call aboard La Feature This Bell for the 350-yard stakes race. The five-year-old mare clocked an 88-speed index in 17.39 seconds with a strong finish. The victory paid $5.10 for the win on the wager.

Ccb Dressed In Black, ridden by H. Gomez, crossed the wire a head behind La Feature This Bell for second. Dk Crystal Favorite placed third under the guidance of E. Cruz.

The $8,800 winner’s share of the purse boosted La Feature This Bell’s lifetime earnings to $87,706 and improved her race record to 9-3-1 from 18 starts. This is the first win of the season for the multiple stakes-winning daughter of Feature This Cold.

In addition to winning the Chirina Glory Classic in 2024, she won the Anselmo Aguilar Payan Classic. She was a finalist in the Merced Gomez Orozco Classic and Hector Roldan Espinosa Classic.

Ruben Romo Hernandez conditions the mare, who previously earned the title of Mexican Adult Champion for owner Cuadra Tittanium.

Runner-up Ccb Dressed In Black has one win from 10 starts and earned $30,718. In her freshman campaign, she placed second in the Futurity De Las Americas and fourth in The Prize Classic.

Trainer Jorge Alberto Ruiz Periban conditions the three-year-old daughter of Tempting Dash for owner Cuadra Cartas Blancas. Michael Amburn bred Ccb Dressed In Black out of Black Dress by Favorite Cartel.

Third-place finisher Dk Crystal Favorite has lit the board in every out from four starts with two wins and $26,434 in the bank. The three-year-old daughter of Favorite Cartel placed second in the Juvenile Championship last year.

Trainer Luis Enrique Cruz Solis saddled Dk Crystal Favorite for owner-breeder Cuadra La Presita. She is out of Corona Crystal by Corona Cartel.

Bombay Temptress, Mis Tres Corona, and Jess Call Me Angel complete the order of finish. Fearless Dynasty was scratched.
