VINTON, LA–APRIL 11, 2025–Syms Sin Tacha, a $30,000 Heritage Place September Sale graduate, posted the fastest race time from 55 juvenile colts and geldings who participated in 10 schooling races at Delta Downs on Friday evening.

All non-wagering races were contested over 220 yards for colts and geldings that remain eligible for the Laddie Futurity(RG2) and Old South Futurity. The fillies debuted in 10 races on Thursday night (see related story).

Owner-trainer David Bustamante tapped jockey Leonardo Rodriguez to ride Syms Sin Taha to the top time of 12.232 seconds in Race 8. Carla Moody bred the son of leading first-crop sire Dulce Sin Tacha in Texas from the Stoli mare Symphonic. 

Syms Sin Taha is a half-brother to stakes-placed La Brujita Mayor and Syms TLC.  This is the family of stakes winner Baby Hold On, A Silver Goblin, Lightning Round and Upcomin Star.

Bayou Justice, a $9,000 LQHBA Yearling Sale graduate, posted the second-fastest clocking of 12.305 seconds in Race 2 under jockey Ubaldo Luna. Orlando Orozco saddled the Five Bar Cartel gelding for owner Jerry Deville, Jr.

Dennis Mills Partners LLC bred the chestnut brother to RG1-stakes-placed Five Bar Perry from the RG2-placed Rakin In The Cash mare Miss Classy Perry, a half-sister to multiple stakes winner Kittys Fast Dash.
