MALAD CITY, ID–AUGUST 3, 2025–Breaking from the rail, Jc Has Dulce held the field from gate to wire and captured his first career victory in the $4,200 Poor Boy All Breed Futurity (not black type) on Sunday at the Oneida County Fair.

Jockey Ricardo Del Cid piloted the son of leading freshman sire Dulce Sin Tacha to a photo finish victory in 15.622 seconds, clocking a 91 speed index. The 300-yard effort paid $10.40 to win on a minor upset.

Kylie Valenzuela saddled Jc Has Dulce for owner Francisco Molina. He was bred in Oklahoma by Jose Cervantes Jr out of A Real Surprise, by Country Quick Dash. Sunday’s win marked his maiden-breaking score in his second start, following a runner-up finish in the Paint Me Appy Overnight Futurity at Pocatello Downs in May.

Second-place finisher Milliken Creek, who has yet to break her maiden, surged late at the wire but came up a nose short. The daughter of Corona Cartel is out of Sexy Perry by Mr Jess Perry, and was bred in Idaho by Bryon Goody. Owned in partnership by Goody and her trainer, Tony Hyde, Jose Figueroa had the riding assignment.

Third place went to Perrfect Black, a Utah-bred filly by Jr Dynasty Mountain, out of One Ivory Lady by Ivory James. She finished a half-length behind the top two. Bred and owned by Jose Lopez, she is trained by Adrian Zavala and was ridden by Oscar Villa.

Rounding out the order of finish were M E Jesses Lil Bro in fourth, Fresno 5 fifth, Miss Lucy Lu sixth, and Cd Dash of an Angel, who ducked in and lost the rider, was unplaced.
