MEXICO CITY, MEXICO–OCTOBER 19, 2025–Fastest qualifier Buu delivered on her favoritism Sunday evening, scoring her first career stakes win with a determined head victory in the $217,960 Mexican Bred Futurity Challenge-RG3 at the Hipodromo de las Americas.

The 350-yard feature was the highlight of the Sunday card, where trainer Luis Enrique Cruz Solís and owner Cuadra San Martín celebrated a double triumph, taking home back-to-back wins after the consolation victory in the previous race.

Under jockey Paul Osvaldo Rodríguez, Buu broke alertly from post 7 and never relinquished the advantage, posting an 89 speed index and stopping the clock in 17.35 seconds over a fast track. The filly earned $168,275 (USD) for the victory.

Buu entered the finals as the fastest qualifier and proved her class, dominating from gate to wire. The effort also marked redemption for her series of near-misses earlier this year—after finishing second in the Subasta Selecta Futurity, fifth in the Mexico Futurity, and sixth in the Garanones Futurity.
