MEXICO CITY, MEX–NOVEMBER 16, 2025–Br Misil delivered a strong and measured performance to take the $15,500 Cesar Pedrero Anaya Classic on Sunday at Hipódromo de las Américas by daylight.

With Arturo Vega Moreno in the irons, the post-time favorite broke sharply and settled into command early. He maintained that advantage throughout, leading every step of the way while posting an 86 speed index with a final time of 16.73 seconds. The son of Jess Lips finished 1 3/4 lengths ahead of Se Wave Runner.

Sunday’s win came in Br Misil’s fifth career start, marking his second victory after recently breaking his maiden following three consecutive runner-up finishes. The $7,750 winner’s share boosted his earnings to $15,750 for owner Cuadra Bronco Rider.

Bred in Mexico by Maximiliano Pérez Castañeda, Br Misil is out of No Moon Too Soon, a daughter of First Down Dash. Trainer Octavio Iván Becerra Águila saddled the two-year-old colt from the outside post 8.

Se Wave Runner, breaking from post 1 under Alejandro Gómez Díaz, recovered from a troubled start and rallied along the rail. The son of Wave Carver gained ground steadily and secured second, finishing 1 1/4 lengths ahead of K Dash Diva.

Se Wave Runner is out of Jessa Runner by Mr Jess Perry and has earned $8,735 for owners Cuadra Santa Elena. He was bred in Mexico by Joaquín Ramón Peláez-Cortés and is trained by José Gustavo Tapio Fernández.

Trainer José Gustavo Tapia Fernández also saddled third-place finisher K Dash Diva for owner Cuadra Jojola R. Ridden by Alejandro Gómez López, the son of Krash Cartel now has one win and two thirds from six starts.

Bred in Mexico by Rancho Hda Santiago, K Dash Diva is out of A Dashing Diva by One Dashing Eagle. His third-place effort increased his earnings to $5,825.

El Niño De Blanco, Capitán Intrepid, Mi Chemita, Belicoso Memory, and Corona Cat Storm completed the order of finish.
