SELMA, TX–FEBRUARY 4, 2026– Whoopie Cowgirl, a $35,000 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate racing for owner Jaime Cardenas, posted the fastest time Wednesday as 66 juveniles competed in 12 schooling races at 250 yards.

Trained by Ramiro Barajas Villareal and ridden by Nestor Duran, the daughter of leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 stopped the clock in :13.64 while winning race 3, the fastest time of the day.

Bred in Texas by Mark Rigby, DVM, Whoopie Cowgirl is out of the Tac It Like A Man mare Tacarosie, a half-sister to stakes-placed A Salty Corona ($21,335). Her second dam is a half-sister to graded stakes winner A Faster Streaker ($173,522), while her third dam is a half-sister to the dam of Champion Tarzanito ($429,657).

Miss Chilitos, a $13,500 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate, recorded the second-fastest time of the day when she captured race 10 in :13.65. The filly was ridden by Oliver Martinez for trainer Jose Ivan Martinez and is owned by Edgar Rivera Hernandez.

The daughter of leading sire Chilitos is out of a full sister to All American Derby (G1) winner Dont Let Down ($697,769). Her second dam is stakes winner Babe On The Fly ($246,111), the dam of stakes winners Barefoot Beach ($106,175), De Laurentis ($90,314), Takiana Romanova B ($192,687), among others. Miss Chilitos was bred in Texas by Connie Nobles.

The third-fastest time of the day belonged to Hey Hay What Ya Say, a son of Ivory James who finished second in race 10 in :13.67. Victor Urieta, Jr. was aboard for trainer Santiago Villaseca. Bred in Louisiana by Wade Loup, the colt is a $25,000 LQHBA Yearling Sale graduate. His second dam is graded stakes winner Sheza Neon Rose ($39,770), a full sister to graded stakes winner Pure Oklahoma ($36,758).
