OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 18, 2026–Apollitikal Dreamer surged to the front early and steadily edged clear late to capture Saturday night’s $100,000 Remington Park Juvenile Stakes for accredited Oklahoma-bred 2-year-olds, covering 330 yards in 16.774 seconds over a fast track.
A bay colt by leading sire Apollitical Jess out of One Kool Dreamer (by Hes Relentless), Apollitikal Dreamer broke sharply under jockey Ramiro Garcia and dueled briefly before inching away to score by three-quarters of a length. The Brenda Reiswig homebred is owned and bred by Reiswig and trained by Jason Olmstead.
The first career victory for the colt was worth $40,816 and pushed the colt’s early bankroll to $44,216 as he stamped himself as a promising Oklahoma-bred juvenile. He was second in the career debut, a trial for the Remington Park Futurity on April 2
Runner-up D Amor, a gelded son of Uncle D out of Lady Dynasty (by FDD Dynasty), closed gamely but could not catch the winner, finishing a neck ahead of Be Iconic. D Amor, trained by Kasey Willis for owners Robyn Gordon and Greg S. Johnston, earned $17,347. He was purchased for $40,000 at the 2025 Heritage Place Yearling Sale. Cavenaugh Quarter Horses, LLC is the breeder.
Be Iconic, a gelding by Hes Relentless out of champion Lynnder 16 (by Apollitical Jess), finished third and earned $11,224 for Horton Racing LLC and trainer John Stinebaugh. He was purchased for $200,000 at the 2024 Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale.
Fourth through ninth were JC Perseus, Small Townn Hero, Cartel Lady, Scif, Gold Medalist, and Lovlee.
Apollitikal Dreamer set the tone from the start and never relinquished command, delivering a professional performance in his stakes debut while confirming the strength of the Olmstead barn with Oklahoma-bred juveniles this meet.
