OKLAHOMA CITY, OK–APRIL 18, 2026–Amarillis surged past a stubborn Emerald Bay in the final strides to capture the $182,720 Remington Park Oaks(RG3) for Oklahoma-bred 3-year-old fillies Saturday night at Remington Park, stopping the clock for 400 yards in 19.580 seconds, a 95 speed index over a fast track.

A sorrel filly by leading sire Favorite Cartel out of Astranomical (by Dominyun), Amarillis ($29.60) was bred in Oklahoma by M C Stucks and is owned by Dusty Rose Ranch LLC. Trained by Stacey Capps and ridden by Cody Smith, the filly earned $73,088 for the victory, boosting her earnings total to almost $310,000.

Breaking sharply and tracking the early leader, Amarillis ranged up alongside Emerald Bay midway before "engaging and exploding" late to gain the advantage and prevail by a half-length at the wire. Emerald Bay, the heavy favorite, held second by a neck over a late-closing Flawless Grace.

Emerald Bay, a bay filly by leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 out of Aqua Girl (by Corona Cartel), was bred by Mike Vaughan and races for Wishbone Partnership. Trained by Dee Keener and ridden by James Flores, she earned $31,063.

Third-place finisher Flawless Grace, a sorrel filly by second-crop sire Dulce Sin Tacha out of Heroic Grace (by Apollitical Jess), was bred by Kelly Yother Equine LLC and is owned by Rolando Resendez. Trained by Leonardo Alcala and ridden by Nestor Duran, she took home $20,099.
