Easter Spcle Miracle posts the fastest qualifying time for the $20,000 Roche Equine Futurity at Jerome County Fair on June 7 under jockey Luis Collazo.

JEROME, ID–JUNE 7, 2026–Three trials were contested Sunday at Jerome County Fair to determine the finalists for the $20,000 Roche Equine Futurity, with Easter Spcle Miracle posting the fastest qualifying time of the afternoon. The final is scheduled for June 23.

Ridden by Luis Collazo, Easter Spcle Miracle captured the second trial in a time of :17.219 for a speed index of 81, the fastest mark among all qualifiers.

The sorrel filly is a homebred racing for breeder-owner Raul Rosas and is trained by Abelardo Gonzalez. Sired by Easter Special Rosas and out of the Buzz Word mare Bma Lake Van, the victory came in her career debut.

Second-fastest qualifier Wacky Wednesday scored a convincing victory in the opening trial under Luis Collazo for owner-breeder LG Racing LLC and trainer Abelardo Gonzalez.

The colt stopped the clock in :17.229 while earning an 80 speed index. Sired by Apollitical Blood and out of the Sir Runaway Dash mare Runaway Witch, Wacky Wednesday improved his record to three starts with two wins and earnings of $6,290.

He entered the trials off a third-place effort in the Pocatello Downs Spring Futurity.

Tillys Kiss Of Power secured the third-fastest qualifying spot after finishing second to Easter Spcle Miracle in the second trial. Ridden by Fernando Olague for owner-breeder Five Livestock Company LLC and trainer Ramiro Fregoso, the gelding covered the 330 yards in :17.260 and earned an 80 speed index.

He is by Power Jam and out of the Jr Dynasty Mountain mare Kiss A Kardashian. Tillys Kiss Of Power now owns a race record of three starts with two runner-up finishes.

The ten fastest qualifiers from the three trial races will return to Jerome County Fair on June 23 to compete in the $20,000 Roche Equine Futurity final.
