EVANSTON, WY–JUNE 13, 2026–A talented group of juveniles battled through 11 trial heats Saturday at Wyoming Downs in pursuit of a berth in the $100,000-added 307 Horse Racing Open Futurity.

When the dust settled, undefeated filly Cyber Buzz emerged as the fastest qualifier after a dominant performance in the opening trial. The futurity final will be contested June 28.

Owned and trained by Alex Torres-Casas and ridden by Brandon Mendez Guevara, Cyber Buzz stopped the clock in :15.403 for 300 yards while drawing away by more than two lengths in the first trial. The daughter of Grade 1 winner Cyber Monday broke sharply and was never threatened, earning a 103 speed index while securing the fastest qualifying time of the afternoon.

Bred by Thomas Scheckel, the filly was purchased for $8,000 at the Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale. She is out of Hunny Bee, an Apollitical Jess mare who is a full sister to Champion of Champions (G1) winner Apollitical Pence ($1,867,319).

Her female family also includes champion Jess Good Candy ($2,014,703) and dam of distinction Rock Candy SA. Cyber Buzz improved her record to a perfect four-for-four and increased her earnings to $56,927 following a recent victory in the Desert Classic Futurity.

Second fastest qualifier SP Sinful Saint secured her place in the final with a gate-to-wire victory in the fourth trial. Ridden by Bryan Candanosa for owner Buckway Ranch LLC and trainer Joe Davis, the filly posted a time of :15.459 while drawing clear by 1¼ lengths.

Bred by Spencer Peterson, SP Sinful Saint is a daughter of Dulce Sin Tacha out of the Saint Shackleton mare Echo Creek Canyon. The filly now sports a record of 3-1-0-0 with earnings of $4,000.

Miss Dashin Hocks earned the third-fastest qualifying mark after rallying late to capture the ninth trial in :15.460, narrowly defeating Kissmeifyoukan at the wire. Bryan Candanosa completed a riding double aboard the filly for owner Heavy Hitters Racing Stables and trainer Joe Davis.

Bred by Scarlett Hill Farm Inc., Miss Dashin Hocks is a $39,000 repurchase from the Heritage Place Yearling Sale. The daughter of champion and champion sire Kiss My Hocks is out of Grade 1 winner Lil Famous Dash ($157,924), a One Famous Eagle mare.

She is a full sister to stakes winner Hock It To You ($408,312), while her female family traces to dam of distinction Dash Master Miss ($249,430), two-time champion Significant Speed ($517,605), and champion Significant Heart ($257,292). Saturday's trial victory came in just her third career start.

Trickey Ways and Famous Crook finished in a tie for the 10th and final qualifying position after both stopped the clock in :15.543. A shake will be held to determine which runner advances to the June 28 final.

The ten fastest qualifiers will return to Wyoming Downs on June 28 to contest the $100,000-added 307 Horse Racing Open Futurity final.
