VINTON, LA–JUNE 17, 2026–Two trials were held at Delta Downs on June 17 for the $75,000-added Delta Downs Louisiana Bred Oaks, a 400-yard race for accredited Louisiana-bred 3-year-old fillies. The trials were contested over a fast track under cloudy skies with an 8 mph tailwind.

Jess Another Mornin and jockey Rene Hernandez won the opening trial to secure the second-fastest qualifying time. A homebred for Live Oak Farms, the filly is trained by Danny Hoda. She was a $20,000 repurchase at the LQHBA Yearling Sale.

Sired by champion Tarzanito and out of the Mr Jess Perry mare Mornin Jess, Jess Another Mornin is a half-sister to stakes winner Shez The Bomb ($135,991) and stakes-placed Jess Good Lookin ($158,249).
