SHELBYVILLE, IN–JUNE 18, 2026–Second-fastest qualifier TW Streakin Cowboy surged to the front shortly after the start and drew away to a one-length victory in Thursday's $112,920 QHRAI Derby at Horseshoe Indianapolis.
Ridden by Diego Villamil Bocanegra for trainer Natasha Perez, the gelding covered 400 yards in :19.739 while earning a 97 speed index over a fast track with cloudy skies and a seven-mile-per-hour crosswind.
Owned, bred and raced by Thomas Wylie, TW Streakin Cowboy improved his record to seven starts with four wins and two seconds while increasing his bankroll to $267,119 with the $62,106 winner's share of the purse.
The Indiana-bred gelding is by Flying Cowboy 123 and out of the Escondido Beach mare Wh Imastreakinbeach.

Heza Hawkeye finished second under Bryan Candanosa for owner R Chavez Racing LLC and trainer Tim Eggleston.
The Torres Buildings-bred gelding, a $8,500 TQHA Yearling Sale graduate, is by Hawkeye and out of the Azoom mare Sheza Bugsy. The runner-up earned $22,584 and now sports a record of 9-3-2-2 with earnings of $179,732. He captured last year's Heartland Futurity and was third in the Governors Stakes.
Fastest qualifier WR Hott Shott settled for third under Luis Luna Diaz for owner Raymond A. Whitmire and trainer Tim Eggleston.
Bred by Whitmire Ranch, the Oklahoma-bred gelding is by One Famous Eagle and out of the American Runaway mare Kontemporary. The third-place finish boosted his earnings to $146,878 from a record of 9-3-4-1.
He previously finished second in the Governors Stakes, Horseshoe Indianapolis Juvenile Challenge and Heartland Futurity.
Three Eyed Candy closed for fourth, followed by Candy Spice, Remember Da Queen, Suzys Kristine, Sydney Jack, Roses After Midnight and Dare To Fly. Pistols Firing 123 was scratched from the field.
