JEROME, ID–JUNE 21, 2026–Redmann and jockey Raphael Romero won the $5,000 Bob Giltner Overnight Derby (not black type) at Jerome County Fair on June 21. The 350-yard race was restricted to 3-year-olds that did not qualify for the Idaho Cup Derby.

Redmann broke sharply from the rail, dueled throughout the stretch with My Famous Kiss, and got the nod by a nose at the wire.

Owned by Bryan Romero and trained by Honer Romero, the gelding was bred by Jolynn Wheeler and Cinda Thomas. He is sired by Red Oak Special and out of the Forged mare She Forged It.

Redmann now holds a record of 12 starts with five wins, one second, and one third, with earnings of $21,314. He won last year's Roche Equine Veterinary Services Futurity and was fourth earlier this season in the Idaho Cup Derby.

My Famous Kiss and jockey Jose Garcia-Segura finished second after pressing the winner every step of the way and missing by only a nose.

Racing for owner LG Racing LLC and trainer Abelardo Gonzalez, the filly was bred by Melvin Neugebauer and is a $55,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate.

She is sired by champion Kiss My Hocks and out of the stakes-placed One Famous Eagle mare One Famous Ribbon ($68,416), a full sister to graded stakes winner A Famous Ribbon ($216,174). The effort came in just the second start of her career.

Flay Min John and jockey Elmer Castillo finished third after tracking the top pair throughout and staying on evenly to the wire. The gelding is a homebred for John McBride and is trained by Luis Olivas. He now owns a rec

ord of five starts with one second and two thirds. He is sired by Flay and out of the Furyofthewind mare Luck N Fury.

CD Driftin Da Wagon closed mildly to finish fourth, followed by JP Superstar, who showed a late kick. Streakarun finished sixth, while CD Dash Of An Angel completed the field.
