Trained by Wesley T. Giles for All In Partners, the filly was ridden by Noe Garcia Jr. and was bred in Oklahoma by Kevin A. Birrell. She sold for $50,000 at the 2024 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale.
Winner of the Ruidoso Derby(G1) in her last start, June 28 and a finalist in the Grade 1 Texas Classic Futurity last season, she has earned $361,456.
Sparks Fly Hr secured the third-fastest qualifying mark after breaking her maiden in the fourth trial in 21.235. The bay daughter of leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 out of Rtm Moonshine, by Separatist, broke alertly, opened daylight late, and crossed the wire one length in front of Illegal Cowgirl 123.
Owned by La Feliz Montana Ranch LLC, bred in Idaho by Ryan & Michelle Hanson, trained by Daniel R. Ruiz Amaya, and ridden by Luis Martinez, Sparks Fly Hr brought $40,000 at the 2024 Heritage Place Fall Mixed Sale.
