EVANSTON, WY—JUNE 28, 2026—Trickey Ways surged through the final strides to collar the leaders and score a neck victory in Sunday's $15,000 307HR Open Juvenile at Wyoming Downs, stopping the timer in 15.550 for 300 yards over a fast track with a 16 mph tailwind. The brown filly earned a 98 speed index while banking the winner's share of $7,500.
Owned and bred by Jerry D. Chapman, Trickey Ways is a daughter of multiple stakes sire Chilitos from the Roll Hennessy Roll mare Trickessy.
Ridden by David Alvarez Jr., for trainer Josh Taylor, the filly rallied from near the back of the field before getting up in the final strides to prevail by a neck. She was an RNA after being consigned to the 2025 TQHA Yearling Sale, where she was bid to $7,500.

The bay gelding is by leading sire Pyc Paint Your Wagon out of Sheza Famous Babe, by One Famous Eagle. Bred in Louisiana by Courtney J. Trahan, he races for Giddy Up Racing LLC and was ridden by Cordarelton J. Benn. Doublebarrel Bourbon sold for $28,000 at the 2025 Heritage Place Yearling Sale.
Just a head farther back in third was Fire The Twins, who set the early pace before being caught late. The gray filly is by Bolt Of Fire out of Toast To The Twins, by Toast To Dash. Bred in Texas by Jason L. Driver, she races for Heavy Hitters Racing Stables, is trained by Joe M. Davis, and was ridden by Angel O. Ramirez.
Uncle D Weight finished fourth, followed by Whole Lotta Outlaw, Sdc My Favorite Talk, Bigg Boi, Cold Truth, and Manik Monday. Famosa Sin Tacha crossed the wire eighth but was disqualified and placed ninth for interference.
