PRINEVILLE, OR—JULY 17, 2026—Tomatito extended his winning streak to two with a determined neck victory in the $10,000 Prineville Futurity Friday night at Crooked River Roundup.

Under jockey Jesus Afanador, the Juan Marquez-trained gelding covered 250 yards in :13.305 while earning a 93 speed index.

Owned by Leobardo Bernal and bred in Oregon by Brazos and Sarah Wilfong, Tomatito is by One Famous Man out of the Five Bar Cartel mare Sister Showtime. The gelding has now won two of three career starts while compiling a 2-1-0 record and $9,375 in earnings.

Docs Flaming Card, ridden by Jose Guerrero, finished a game second with a 91 speed index after entering off a victory in the Firecracker Futurity Consolation at Grants Pass.

Owned and bred by Adrian Oliva Gomez and trained by Jose Rosales Gomez, the colt is by Docs Best Card out of the Separatist mare Seperate Flames. He now sports a career mark of 4-2-1-0 with earnings of $11,800.

Making his career debut, Interesting View closed well to finish third while posting an 87 speed index under Jaime Lopez. The Mark Hanson trainee races for RTM Stables LLC and Byron Goody and was bred by Steve D. Burns, DVM.

A $15,000 Heritage Place Yearling Sale graduate, the gelding is by Seperate Interest out of a full sister to graded stakes winner Black Fryday ($369,940).

La Chata Jg finished fourth and was followed by Tacos Forever, All Gussyed Up, Kvn Popped Off, and Hott Smartie.
