ALBUQUERQUE, NM—AUGUST 9, 2026—Full Moon Desire turned in a historic performance Sunday at The Downs at Albuquerque, posting the fastest qualifying time in All American Oaks trial history while leading the field of 10 finalists into the Grade 1, $694,186 All American Oaks.

Five 440-yard trials for 3-year-old fillies were contested over a fast racing surface, with the 10 fastest qualifiers earning berths in the September 6 final.

Full Moon Desire, the fastest qualifier at 20.850, dominated the fourth trial by one length under jockey Juan Pulido. The sorrel daughter of yesterday's All American Futurity fastest qualifier sire Chilitos broke on top and was kept to task throughout as the 1-10 favorite, recording a 103 speed index.

Heber Deyta-Melendez trains Full Moon Desire for Leviram Racing LLC. Bred in Texas by Juan M. Jr. and Jairo Lozano, she is out of Mystical Desire, by Desirio. Full Moon Desire was an $11,000 purchase at the 2024 TQHA Yearling Sale.

Sunday's victory improved Full Moon Desire's career record to five wins from eight starts with one second. She entered the trials with earnings of $236,623. The winner of last year's EVD Futurity (G2) entered the trials off a second-place effort in the Miss Retama Stakes on July 24.

Ruse Ticle Knockout recorded the second-fastest qualifying time when she won the third trial by one length in 20.901 under jockey Edwin G. Escobedo. After breaking first, the bay filly dueled before proving best and earned a 102 speed index.

Marc E. Jungers trains Ruse Ticle Knockout for owner Mi Serenity. Five Puig Racing LLC bred the daughter of leading sire Apollitical Jess in Texas from Adolph Tres Knockout, by Tres Seis. The multiple graded-placed filly was a $210,000 purchase at the 2024 TQHA Yearling Sale.

Ruse Ticle Knockout has compiled six wins, two seconds and four thirds from 13 career starts and has earned $187,141. She was second in the Southwest Juvenile Invitational (G2) last year and third in the Los Alamitos Oaks(G1) in March.

Remarkable Cowgirl secured the third-fastest qualifying time of 21.007 after finishing second to Full Moon Desire in the fourth trial. Ridden by Sergio Becerra Jr., Remarkable Cowgirl followed the winner throughout and crossed the wire one length behind the fastest qualifier.

Marco A. Flores conditions Remarkable Cowgirl for owners Felix Rodriguez and Sergio Holguin, who also bred the filly in Texas. She is a daughter of leading sire Flying Cowboy 123 from Freighttrain Reba, by Freighttrain B.

Third in the Rainbow Juvenile last summer, Remarkable Cowgirl has won three of eight career starts with two seconds and two thirds while earning $146,800.

The 10 qualifiers will return to The Downs at Albuquerque on Sunday, September 6, for the Grade 1, $694,186 All American Oaks at 440 yards.
