ALBUQUERQUE, NM—AUGUST 9, 2026—Grade 1 winner Gf Shes Sinful turned in a spectacular performance Sunday at The Downs at Albuquerque, setting a new 440-yard track record while posting the fastest qualifying time from eight trials for the Grade 1 $1,080,992-est. All American Derby.
The 10 fastest qualifiers from Sunday's trials will return to The Downs at Albuquerque on September 6 for the 440-yard final.
Gf Shes Sinful dominated the sixth trial, drawing away to win by 2 1/2 lengths in 20.541. Her clocking shattered the previous track record of 20.708 established by Posies Woodette on November 14, 2010.
Adding to the significance of her record-setting performance, Gf Shes Sinful was the only filly entered in Sunday's eight All American Derby trials, opting to take on the colts and geldings rather than remain within the filly division. She not only accepted the challenge but emerged as the fastest of them all.
Jockey Noe Garcia Jr. rode the sorrel daughter of leading second-crop sire Dulce Sin Tacha to the fastest qualifying mark for trainer Wesley T. Giles. All In Partners owns Gf Shes Sinful, who was bred in Oklahoma by Kevin A. Birrell from the Foose mare Bf Fooserageous.
A $50,000 purchase at the 2024 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale, Gf Shes Sinful improved her career record to six wins and two seconds from nine starts with earnings of $463,553 after adding Sunday's $5,900 winner's share. Her previous accomplishments include a victory in the Grade 1 Ruidoso Derby, a runner-up finish in the Grade 1 Rainbow Oaks, and a finalist appearance in the Grade 1 Texas Classic Futurity.
Two-time champion Political Twist delivered the second-fastest qualifying performance when he captured the fifth trial in 20.755. Breaking sharply under jockey Luis Martinez, the accomplished gelding led throughout and won by one length under confident handling.

Gf Shes Sinful led the unprecedented group with her track-record 20.541, while Dr Stone Cold secured the 10th and final qualifying position with a :20.998 clocking. The remarkable depth of the qualifying field means every horse advancing to the Grade 1 final stopped the timer in 20 and change.
