ALTOONA, IA–AUGUST 14, 2026–Second-fastest qualifier Ts Gray N Famous rallied late to capture the $75,650 Iowa Stallion QH Futurity Friday evening at Prairie Meadows.

Ridden by Cristian Esqueda, Ts Gray N Famous covered the 350 yards in :18.226 over a muddy, sealed racing surface. The gray filly got up late and held off the fast-closing Th Mama Tried by a head. Ts A Fast Diva finished another half-length back in third.

Ts Gray N Famous is a homebred for Thomas J. Scheckel and is trained by Fernando Manriquez. The Iowa-bred daughter of Fast N Famous Jeans is out of the Mr Jess Perry mare Mrs Aqua Perry.

The victory improved her record to 4-2-1-0, while the $34,042 winner's share boosted her career earnings to $47,344.

Th Mama Tried finished second under Alfredo Triana Jr. for owner and breeder David Morehead and trainer Manuel Mojica Campos. The homebred filly is by Ryder Rite and out of the Tres Seis mare Mama Mia. Making just her second career start, she increased her earnings to $15,760.

Ts A Fast Diva rallied late to finish third under Cody Smith for trainer Tony Dean Jones and owner and breeder Thomas J. Scheckel. The gelding was an $11,000 repurchase at the Heritage Place Winter Mixed Sale.

By Fast N Famous Jeans, Ts A Fast Diva is out of the Apollitical Jess mare Apollitical Diva. His female family traces to two-time champion Spit Curl Diva ($829,353) and champion Coronas First Diva ($496,377). He now has a record of 5-0-0-2 with earnings of $10,301.

Fastest qualifier Devins Dream finished fourth after showing early speed, followed by Chicks A Queen, Th Mea Rydin, Ts Eight Dollar Beer, Real Kisses, Sbr Big Booty Judy and Ts I Fly Away.
