TULSA, OK—JULY 27, 2019—Tempted Seis, with Mario Delgado aboard, gained the lead early and prevailed by a head to win the $188,700 Speedhorse Quarter Horse Futurity (G3) at Fair Meadows on Saturday night.
The final time for the feature race on the card was 17.837 for a speed index of 89 at 350 yards.
Tempted Seis was the eighth fastest qualifier from eight trials on July 12. All three of her career efforts have been at Fair Meadows: she debuted in June and finished second in a maiden race before breaking her maiden in the Speedhorse Futurity trial. She is now two for three with $76,257 in earnings.

Tempted Seis ($17.80) is trained by R.L. Rick Robinson for owner Rogelio Marquez, Jr. She was bred in Montana by Copper Spring Ranch LLC, by Tempting Dash and out of Senorita Seis, by Tres Seis.
Second place finisher Relentless Jessie and jockey Daniel Antonio Torres also won their trial and were the ninth fastest overall qualifiers.
Relentless Jessie is owned and trained by Manuel Francisco Mata. The daughter of Hes Relentless was bred in Oklahoma by Bob Moore Farms LLC, out of Jess A Queen, by Gold Medal Jess. She qualified to the Remington Park Oklahoma Bred Futurity (RG1) in April and was fourth in the FL Lady Bug Stakes in May at Remington.

Three Blue Coronas and Andrew Samaniego were a neck behind Relentless Jess in third place. The Jess Louisiana Blue colt won his trial and was the second fastest qualifier to the futurity.
Three Blue Coronas has made all three of his career starts at Fair Meadows and has two wins in three starts; Saturday’s futurity was his first loss. He is trained by R.L. Rick Robinson for owner Justin Lee Robinson.
Nancy McCoy bred the colt in Louisiana, out of the graded stakes placed mare Corona Three, by Strawfly Special.
Completing the field were Eye Cartel, Rockcreek Blues, Jess a Lota, Beaus Blood, Tres Southern Prize and Ms Fast Prize Doll. Jess a Lota originally finished third but was placed sixth via disqualification. Eye Cartel and Rockcreek Blues finished in a dead heat for fifth. Walkin in Fashion was scratched.
