All American and Ruidoso NM Horse Sales to be held at their regular venues in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico.

RUIDOSO DOWNS, NM–JULY 26, 2024–After a review of accessible horse stalls in Albuquerque, All American Horse Sales LLC has announced that the New Mexico-bred and All American Select Sale will return to the regular venue at Ruidoso Downs Race Track.

"After further investigation of the Albuquerque facilities, we discovered we were some 150 stalls short of what we needed to conduct those sales," said Walt Wiggins, sales general manager.

"We apologize for any inconvenience that has been caused for all concerned, and we look forward to seeing everyone in the cool pines of Ruidoso."

The dates for the New Mexico-bred sale will be August 16-17 starting at 5 p.m. (MDT)each day. There are 229 consignments scheduled to be sold.

The All American Select Sale will be held August 30-31 at 4 p.m. (MDT) daily. A total of 425 consignments are scheduled to be sold.            

On Labor Day weekend in Albuquerque, Ruidoso Downs plans to conduct all major stakes races including the All American Futurity, All American Derby, All American Oaks and ,All American Gold Cup on Monday, September 2.

"This should allow horsemen and racing fans to spend Friday and Saturday at the horse sales and return to Albuquerque in time for the major races," Wiggins said.
