LQHBA conducted its annual "Hip Drawing" for the 2025 LQHBA Yearling Sale today.

ALEXANDRIA, LA—MAY 22, 2025—LQHBA held its annual LQHBA Yearling Sale "hip draw" today at the LQHBA office in Alexandria.

Five hundred and nineteen (519) yearlings have been consigned to the 2025 LQHBA Yearling Sale, which will be held on August 1 and 2 at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana. The sale will start promptly at 10 a.m. (CDT) each day.

Hips 1 through 260 will sell on Friday, August 1, and Hips 261 through 519 will be offered on Saturday, August 2.

There are NO HIP SWAPS for the 2025 LQHBA Yearling Sale.

Parentage Verified Registration Papers, Louisiana Bred Certificate and transfer due on June 27th, 2025 or it becomes an out with no refund of consignment fee.
