JP Superstar broke sharply and sprinted to a ¾-length victory in the $6,500 Idaho Bred Overnight Derby at Oneida County Fair.

MALAD CITY, ID–AUGUST 2, 2026–JP Superstar broke sharply from the gate and never looked back, scoring his first career victory in Sunday's $6,500 Idaho Bred Overnight Derby at Oneida County Fair.

Ridden by Luis Collazo, the sorrel gelding blasted from the gate and drew away to a ¾-length victory in :15.467 for the 300 yards, earning a 96 speed index over a fast track.

Owned and trained by Jose Pulido and bred by Vicente Treyes Valencia, the gelding is by Concorde's Appeal (TB) out of the Never Tell mare Race My Tell.

The win improved his record to 4-1-1-0, while the $3,900 winner's share boosted his earnings to $5,708.

Milliken Creek finished second under Fernando Olague, completing the distance in :15.577 with a 92 speed index after drifting in during the stretch.

Bred by Byron Goody, who co-owns the filly with trainer Tony Hyde, she is by Corona Cartel out of the Mr Jess Perry mare Sexy Perry. The runner-up now owns a record of 8-2-2-0 with earnings of $8,957.

Hes Pullin Gs was elevated to third following the disqualification of Emperador Moctezuma, who crossed the wire third but was placed fourth for bothering a rival.

Ridden by Jesus Flores, Hes Pullin Gs is owned, trained, and bred by Dabid Romero. The gelding is by Hes Innocent out of the Dale Badon mare La Choriada. Coming off a third-place finish in the Bitterroot Derby, he now has a record of 9-2-1-3 with earnings of $13,545.

Following the disqualification, Emperador Moctezuma was officially placed fourth and was followed by Lus Louisiana Girl and Eye On Radar to complete the order of finish.
