VINTON, LA–APRIL 10, 2026–Delta Downs opened its first night of schooling races Thursday, April 9, setting the stage for the upcoming Old South Futurity and Lassie Futurity. A total of 13 races were dedicated to two-year-old fillies, with the first race going off at 7:30 p.m.
The fastest performance of the night came in the final race, where She B Zoomin stopped the clock in 12.197 seconds while drawing off to win by 1 1/4 lengths.

She B Zoomin’s sire, Freighttrain B, was one of three stallions to sire multiple winners on the night, joined by Kj Mucho Macho Man and Apollitical Blood.
Breaking from the inside post, She B Zoomin was piloted by Ubaldo Luna for trainer Preston Jourdan. Breeder Kirt Blaine Chaisson owns the sorrel filly out of Signed By A Kiss by Kiss My Hocks in partnership with Mark Petry.
The second-fastest time came from race nine, with Servando Ramirez in the saddle breaking from the six hole. Trained by Kenneth Weeks, Knighttimecartel won her race by a 1/2 length in 12.218 seconds.
Bred by Blackmon Quarter Horses LLC, Knighttimecartel is out of Knighttimelover by Shazoom. The daughter of Carters Cartel is owned by John Henson, who purchased her for $6,500 at the LQHBA Yearling Sale.
Runner-up to Knighttimecartel was Innocent Game, who recorded the third-fastest time of the night, stopping the clock in 12.312 seconds under Juan Garcia Jr. Trainer Luis Daniel Garcia saddled the gray filly for owner James Carter III.
Innocent Game is a daughter of Hes Innocent out of Game Snowlady by Game Patriot and was bred by Grant Farms LLC.
Delta Downs continues schooling races Friday night with 76 colts and geldings entered across 11 races as preparations continue for the Old South Futurity and Laddie Futurity.
