The 2026 NMHBA Online Stallion Breeding Auction Opens January 12.

ALBUQUERQUE, NM—JANUARY 9, 2026—The New Mexico Horse Breeders Association (NMHBA) 2026 Online Stallion Breeding Auction will open Monday, January 12, 2026, at noon (MST).

The annual online auction will conclude Monday, January 26, 2026, at noon (MST). Any stallion breeding that receives a bid at closing time will automatically extend in five-minute increments until bidding activity ceases on that individual stallion.

Breeders may view stallions and place bids by visiting nmhorsebreeders.com and selecting “2026 Stallion Auction” from the main menu. Bidders are reminded to ensure they are viewing the LIVE AUCTION, which is displayed in the top right corner of the page.

Registration is required to bid. Breeders who registered in previous years will have their accounts saved and may simply request a new password if needed. Email notifications will be sent through WordPress confirming successful bids and alerting bidders if they have been outbid. Participants are encouraged to check spam or junk folders for auction-related emails.

At the conclusion of bidding on Monday, January 26, winning bidders will be notified by email and directed to a payment page. Accepted payment methods include credit or debit card, PayPal, and Venmo. Payments must be completed within 24 hours, or the breeding will be offered to the next highest bidder.
